Day 21 - Sun 29th March: The Volcano Park, The Big Island, Hawaii

Here's the point where the lava flowing from a Volcano on Hawaii's Big Island hits the ocean...creating new land. New land! They don't recommend breathing in the fumes, as it can contain hydrochloric acid.

  3. I forgot to say, if the sulphur dioxide levels are too high in the park, they do close the roads though

  4. Dip, why travel across the world to see that? I can do a similar kind of reaction in a swimming pool.
