Day 38 - Weds 15th April: Pohutu Geyser, Rotorua

Rotorua is renowned for it's volcanic activity. A few miles below the surface there's molten lava, which heats the water underground. That hot water has to come out somewhere, and one of these places is the Pohutu geyser. It can reach heights of 30 metres on a good day.
