Day 92 - Mon 8th June: Sydney Opera House (again) and Harbour Bridge

I went to the Opera House (again) but this time went for a tour on the inside and if you're sensing another fact coming on, you'd be right!

Back in 1957 they estimated that the building would cost $7m to build and it would be completed by Jan 1963. It ended up costing a whopping $102m and was finally completed in 1973. FACT! Makes Wembley Stadium seem like a well run project.

  1. How much does chicken and chips cost there? From recollection, at Wembley it's about £8.

  2. Not too sure - but fish'n'chips at a nearby restaurant: $30. They've gotta get that $102m back somehow!
